Our heart for OASIS (older adults still in service),

is two-fold. First, it is to love, encourage, lead, and

ensure that our older saints know their value to the

body of Christ. No matter what your age, we all have

something we can do for God.

In Psalm 92:13-14 it says “they flourish in the courts

of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are

ever full of sap and green, to declare that the LORD

is upright…" Our senior adults play a vital part in the

church and the kingdom of God. They have a wealth

of wisdom and knowledge, and life experiences of

God’s faithfulness in times of adversity.

Psalms 71:18 says, “Even when I am old and gray, do

not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to

the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are

to come.”‭ We encourage our senior adults to share

their testimonies to help encourage the younger

generation in their walk with God.

Second, our older saints face different challenges than

the younger Christians. We strive to minister to them in times of need, both spiritual as well as emotional and physical.

We do a weekly Sunday School class with our older adults from 10-10:30 as well as meet once a month, with a potluck lunch, and have someone share a devotional or testimony.

OASIS welcomes any one, no matter their age, who wish to join us.
