From the Pastor's Desk 9/18/22

Please allow us to express our hearts today. As many of you may know, today will be our last day as your associate pastors as we have accepted a position as the new senior pastors of Community Harvest Church of God in the Burnside/Somerset area. This was not an easy decision for us. This has been bathed in a lot of prayer and fasting. As a matter of fact, we have wrestled with this because we love our Parkway family and are excited about what God has in store here. On the other hand, God kept stirring our hearts again to pastor our own church and serve the community wherever God would lead us. Once we decided to surrender all to Him and what His perfect will was for our lives, God has been orchestrating everything and we believe is putting all the pieces together for our future ministry.

We have had the privilege of serving you for the past 8 years as your associate pastor and worship leader and it has been a great joy! We appreciate all the support and love you have shown us, and we cherish all the friendships we have made over the years. We believe the best is yet to come for both Parkway Ministries and Community Harvest Church of God and we appreciate all your prayers, and we promise to continually pray for you as well. We’re believing that God is going to use us as an extension of this ministry, and we are continuing to trust God to go before us on this journey!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jer. 29:11 NLT).

We Love You!

We have served as your pastors for almost exactly 10 years. It seems hard to believe. I don't want to dwell on the past, but I do think it is important sometimes to see the big picture. Our church had
