From the Pastor's Desk

As we soon move into the season of school starting back, we are excited about the launching of three new areas of ministry. It is by God's grace. We want you to be aware of them.

First, Chuck and Danielle Matlock have begun our "Living Free" support groups on Tuesday nights. They meet in the Fireside Chapel. It is Christ-based and for people with any kind of life controlling issue. You can get more information from them.

Secondly, we are beginning a group of College Age, 18-24. Young Adult Ministry for Young Marrieds, Young Marrieds with Children, and Young Single Adults 25-35 will continue with Pastor Tim & Katrina. But we want to address College Age Young Adults. Teresa Cox will be giving leadership. They will start in August, meeting once a month in the Fireside Chapel during Wed. Night Discipleship. We will see how God develops the ministry. Please contact Teresa, if you are interested.

And thirdly, we will be re-launching Women's Ministry. Obviously, we have had Women's Ministry a long time. But Stacy Waddell and Rhonda Beavers will be leading "All Things New Women's Ministry" as we get a fresh start. It will help Pastor Jennifer to focus on her areas of passion and allow us to still minister effectively to women in a variety of ways.
