From the Pastor's Desk

This month we have been focusing on welcoming the Holy Spirit. Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus and spoke of their being strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man (Eph 3:14-21). He said that we could experience exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think, according to the power of the Spirit within us, and that the church should be operating on that basis. Paul prayed for himself and those to whom he ministered to be "filled with all the fullness of God."

Why are we so empty? It's the highest goal we can pray for. It is unbelievable to our natural minds. We can receive it to the fullest measure of our capacity and yieldedness. We are promised fire, not a feeble flicker. We long to be filled to the very fullest of God that He desires to bring into our lives.
